Query Tool - And & Or

When building a Query, there are two main ways to join statements together: "And" and "Or."

Use "And" to combine criteria together and refine a Query. For example, you might wish to find all Contacts with Life to Date Giving greater than $1,000 AND a Life to Date Gift Count greater than 2. In this example, a Contact would need to meet both criteria to be included in the Query results.

Use "Or" to broaden the scope of Query results. Searching for all Contacts with Life to Date Giving greater than $1,000 OR a Life to Date Gift Count greater than 2 will yield a list of Contacts who meet either one or both of the Query parameters.
